Many women overlook Zadro because they seem to focus their product line on fogless shower mirrors but they also offer a few very nice makeup mirrors too. In fact, a good zadro makeup mirror can be a fantastic bargain if you know where to look.

Today I’ll discuss several different mirrors that they offer, give you the pros and cons of each one, let you know what you can expect to pay for these bad boys, and generally fill you in on everything you ever needed to know about the brand and what they offer. So sit back and settle in and let’s get down to business!

Zadro Double Vision Vanity Mirror at $30 this is a very well reviewed mirror. It is nine and half inches high by 9 1/2 inches wide and comes in a very unique chrome colored flexible goose neck with a slide on suction cup mounting bracket in chrome finish. It comes with full 5X and 10X magnification. The goose neck flexes giving you just about every angle imaginable. I’m not sure I would trust the suction cup mounting, but you never know! Many women swear by this mirror.

Zadro 1X/ 7X Acrylic Vanity Mirror this mirror cost about $25 and is a slightly smaller model. It has both 1X and 7X magnification and is a 6 1/4 inch optical quality mirror with an acrylic frame. It has the look of being a cheap mirror but is actually quite sturdy. It doesn’t have many bells and whistles; this is just a cut and dried mirror.

Zadro Ultimate Lighted Make-up Mirror is a very interesting looking mirror for about $60 which is sort of expensive. It has a fluorescent light as well as 1X and 10X magnification’s and is perfect for either home use, office use, or travel use. It comes with its own LCD clock and alarm which may explain the hefty price tag but might make it worth while as a travel mirror and alarm clock so that you don’t ever miss your meetings while on the road. The nice thing about this mirror is that it folds into a compact 1.5 inches which is great for travel. This is a very highly recommended and well reviewed model.

Wall Mount Magnifying One-Sided 5X Mirror this is a very standard mirror yet at $40 may be more expensive then you need to pay for the same functions elsewhere. It has a 5X magnification optical mirror and a duel arm that extends out 15 inches from the mounted wall. The mirror is roughly 9 inches in diameter which makes it fairly standard sized.

Zadro 9″ Makeup Magnifying Wall Mount Mirror this Polished Chrome, Dual Arm, Surround Light mirror costs a whopping $130. It has 5X and 7X magnification and surround light. It extends 15 inches from the mounted surface. This is a slightly unique mirror and that it has two mirrors allowing you to see full 5X and 7X magnification at the same time so that you don’t have to keep flipping between the two manually. The 7X mag mirror is 6 inches in diameter and a 5X mirror is 9 1/4 inches in diameter. The model is polished chrome that looks very nice. One downside is that it is a hard wired model meaning you have to hard wire it into your homes electric system, there is no cord to plug it in.

So there you have several different models in the zadro makeup mirror universe. Many women choose to go with more established brands such as Conair or Jerdon, and at the higher price ranges I may be apt to agree. But at the lower ranges there are many Zadro models that may be worth your time.

One major brand than many women tend to over look is the Floxite makeup mirror. These are very nice lower end models, but they also offer a couple of higher priced travel models as well that most people don’t know about.

Today I’m going to discuss everything you ever wanted to know about Floxite mirrors in a fair amount of detail. I’ll show you several models that are available at different price ranges, discuss their features and their pros and cons (if they have any) and tell you what you can expect at different price ranges. So let’s get right down to it!

Lighted Adjustable 15X Travel Mirror Compact in Blue Case this is a very nice travel mirror for only $20. It folds and extends from full mirror size into very small circle like disc that slips easily into any purse or suitcase with these. It has an adjustable arm that allows you to use it as a standalone mirror. It comes with very very powerful 15X magnification which is unusual and also comes with distortion free glass. It has two very bright bulbs that are lit by four AAA batteries which are included. It has a three way switch which allows you to toggle between settings of constantly on, momentarily on, and off. It’s roughly 4 inches in diameter and 1.25 inches thick when it’s closed. All in all a very nice travel mirror.

10X/1X Magnifying Lighted LED Cosmetic Make-Up Compact this is an interesting compact mirror that cost just $13 yet has 10X magnification and distortion free DFP glass. It’s interesting because it’s a compact but it also has LED lighting and the bulbs never need replacing as long as you use it in a normal manner. As a bonus this model comes with its own tweezers and cosmetic case which is a nice little touch. This mirror has very nice reviews and the consensus is that it’s a very well made and practical mirror that you can carry around with you everywhere.

Hand Mirror with Stand 10X to 1X with Clear Acrylic Frame at $20 I am loathe to discuss this mirror because it’s a hand mirror, but on the other hand it comes with its own stand which allows you to convert it into a tabletop mirror. It has 10X magnification as well as 1X on the flip side. The mirror is 6.25 inches in diameter and 10.25 inches in length and the stand allows for adjustable angles. The fact that it’s a hand mirror makes it very nice for travel use and many women use it just for that.

Home Travel 9X/1X Folding Lighted Cosmetic Mirror at $45 this is definitely a higher range model in the Floxite catalog. It comes with a 9X magnifying and 1X magnifying mirror and a bright 22 watt fluorescent bulb with 100 watts of illumination. The mirror is roughly 8 inches in diameter and folds for easy storage or for travel. What’s interesting about this mirror is that it comes with built-in storage compartments which may be overkill.

10x Magnifying Circle LiteTM lighted Mirror at $50 this is the high range model that Floxite offers. It comes with 10X magnification and 360° lighting for versatile illumination and multi-angle viewing. At this price I suggest you set your sights on a good Jerdon mirror instead. Floxite makes great cheaper models and travel models but I’m not sure I would trust them for this expensive of a mirror.

So there you have it, all you ever needed or wanted to know about picking a good floxite makeup mirror. Like I said earlier on this page, these are very nice low-end travel mirrors and if you’re looking for a specific travel mirror you cannot go wrong with any of them.

One of the main brands of makeup mirrors available today is the luxor makeup mirror. While not one of the major brands, they still offer a nice range of mirrors at the lower end of the price range that you may be very interested in.

Luxor mirrors are smaller mirrors, and they have a temporary sort of look about them. Many of them seem to be ideal for traveling since they are small enough to toss in a bag, and made out of cheaper materials like plastics and things of that nature so that you aren’t worried about damaging them as you would be a more expensive brushed nickel or chrome mirror.

Today I’m going to discuss several models that you have to choose from and discuss their features as well as what you can expect to pay.

Luxor 2-in-1 Magnifying Mirror and Cosmetic Organizer at only $15, this mirror is a real steal. It has a regular 5.5 inch diameter mirror on one side and a 10X magnifying mirror on the other. It comes with a clear acrylic base and frame. What is unique about this mirror is that it comes with its own cosmetic tray which is quite handy in a number of circumstances. The entire thing measures roughly 8 inches tall and is about 7 inches wide including the stand.

LUXOR Professional Power-Mag 5X Magnifying Shaving Mirror (Model: 1826) this little mirror packs quite a punch, and at only seven dollars you simply can’t go wrong! It comes with the industry standard 5X magnification which many women prefer over higher magnifications such as 8X or 10X (which some women find to be too much magnification). This little guy won’t take up much room on your counter top. It comes with thin steel looking legs that are very unobtrusive.

Power-Mag 10X Magnifying Mirror at $18 this mirror is one of the more expensive ones that Luxor produces. It has a 10X magnification as well as a 1X magnification and comes with a stand that snaps off allowing you to hang the mirror on the wall if you prefer. The frame is clear acrylic and very durable which may make it a nice travel mirror. This is a smaller mirror at around 5 to 6 inches in diameter so be aware of that.

10x Mirror/Cosmetic Organizer at only $14 this is a very cute little mirror. It has a magnifying zoom that allows you to see even the smallest details while you apply your makeup or wash your face. This mirror allows you to choose from single-sided or double-sided and is both suction backed as well as containing its own stand. It’s also small enough to hold in your hand which makes it a good mirror to keep in your purse, to use on the go. It has 10X magnification and comes with its own cosmetic organizer.

Luxor #1838 Power-Mag 5X Lighted Battery Operated this mirror runs around $20 and is what you would think of when you think of a standard chrome solid makeup mirror which makes it different than many other Luxor mirrors which have a more temporary feel to them. It has 5X magnification as well as 1X magnification and is Halo lighted and battery operated. At this price you may be better off upgrading to a lower end Conair model that offers more features at around the same price.

As I’ve said before, a luxor makeup mirror is more of a travel mirror or temporary backup mirror. You probably won’t use them as your main makeup mirror but they’re good to stick in a spare bathroom or on a dresser in a guest room or bring them along when you travel.

Every bathroom should have a fog free shower mirror and I don’t think that’s an exaggeration. For some reason, and I’m not sure why, many men prefer to shave in the shower. If you’re married then you know what I’m talking about. Even if you’re not married, you may have guests over from time to time who are staying with you and who would like to shave in the shower so no matter what, you should keep one of these mirrors handy at all times.

Luckily, they are incredibly inexpensive for the most part and today I’m going to talk about how to find a good one, how much you can expect to pay for one, and some general tips that are fairly important when it comes to fog free mirrors overall.

Before I go any further, let me just throw this out there… fogless mirror don’t work! Yes, I know that’s an oversimplification but it’s still true. I’ve never seen one of these mirrors the didn’t fog up from time to time. Sure for the most part they work okay for a while, but as time goes on they just seem to stop working so well. Luckily you can find one for around $10 or $15 which means that you can replace them from time to time as they stop working. So it’s not really a huge deal, it’s just frustrating when something doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to.

And it’s not just the cheap end inexpensive models that don’t work very well, the more expensive ones don’t work all the time either. Plus it’s just human nature to want to reach up and wipe the steam or fog off of the mirror with your hand… and doing that can destroy your mirrors fogless properties over time because the oils in your hand as well as any soap that may be on there can eat away at the chemicals that are supposed to keep the mirror fog free.

So you should really try to use of washcloth or something like that to wipe your mirror… the problem is, it’s early in the morning, you’re tired, you’re worried about the day ahead of you, or maybe you’re running behind and you are late… whatever the reason, we just don’t think well in the morning and inevitably you’re going to reach up with your hand and wipe off the mirror.

The next thing I want to talk about are suction cups. Many of these mirrors come with suction cups to attach them to the side of your shower. I’ve never seen a suction cup that actually worked permanently which means you always have to reach in there and sort of push on them a little bit to make sure the mirror won’t fall down. Of course, we often forget to do this and so I’m sure we’ve all had times when we were sitting in the living room watching TV in the evening and suddenly heard a loud crashing noise come from the bathroom only to find out that the stupid mirror had fallen once again.

Most of the time these mirrors aren’t made out of real glass so it’s not such a big deal when they fall; it’s just a hassle and a pain in the backside that I would rather not have to deal with. That’s why I suggest you only purchase mirrors that have some sort of an attachment that lets them hang from your shower head, or some sort of super adhesive strips other than suction cups that allow you to attach them securely to your shower wall.

There are no major brands when it comes to these types of mirrors. Since most of them are very inexpensive, the market is wide open so I can’t suggest one brand over another because I’ve not found any of them that really do a good job. I suggest you stay away from brands that offer lots of bells and whistles such as shelves along the side of the mirror to keep your shaving cream in, or slots to keep your razor in because these things just make the mirror heavier and more apt to fall down.

Finding a good fog free shower mirror is a lesson in futility. About the best you can hope for is a mirror that sort of works okay, and maybe that’s just as well anyway.

Selecting the right wall mount mirror for your makeup needs can be very important. Pick the wrong one and you may never be completely happy with the way you look. Let’s face it, you do your makeup every single day, sometimes twice a day! You want to make sure that your mirror helps you to do as well as possible.

So what are your options when it comes to these types of mirrors? You actually have many more choices than you may think! There are basically two major types of mirrors to choose from, that is, two broad categories that are completely separate from each other. I will discuss each of them today.

The first broad type of mirror is a regular square mirror that is ringed with lights. I’m not sure about you, but when I think of these mirrors I think of movie stars on the sets of their movies sitting in front of these large lighted mirrors with a bunch of makeup people hovering around them touching up their makeup for the scene they are about to shoot.

These are large and fairly expensive mirrors and you may have to have a carpenter or at least someone who knows about hanging mirrors come in and install them. These mirrors can range anywhere from $180 all the way up to several thousand dollars depending on the size and the lighting options. Another option is to simply buy a large square mirror and install your own makeshift lights around the frame of them. This can be done for under one hundred dollars in most cases, but takes a little ingenuity on your part, and definitely a lot more effort. Still, it can be worth the effort and definitely worth the savings in money that this approach assures.

The second broad type of mirror are the smaller, usually around nine inches in diameter, magnifying mirrors with extendable arms that you can mount on your wall. These are by far the more common of the two broad types and you can pick up one of these beauties for anywhere from $25 all the way up to $150 or $200 depending on the number of bells and whistles and the name of the brand (some brand names are simply more expensive than others).

When it comes to these mirrors, you have many different options. First, you must choose between lighted and unlighted. A good lighted mirror will cost more, but not MUCH more than an unlighted on which suggests you may want to go with the lighted model. A good lighted model has 4 light settings, day light, night light, office light, and home light. Some cheaper models come with only 2 light settings, day light and night light and you can probably get by just fine with just those settings.

The next thing to pick out are your magnification settings. Most mirrors come with a standard flipable mirror that offers 1X magnification on one side and 5X magnification on the other. Most women find 5X to be plenty of magnification, but if you want a little more umph, there are 7X, 8X and 10X options to choose from. It’s really just a matter of personal preference. Go with what you like!

There are two major brands for this type of mirror, Conair and Jerdon. Conair mirrors tend to occupy the lower price ranges, anywhere from $25 up to around $100. Jerdon sells mostly higher-end models from $50 up to around $200. Either brand will give you great options at the different price ranges so that there is something solid for any budget.

Picking the right wall mount mirror is no easy task. I suggest you spend a lot of time holding different models in your hands to get a good idea of whether or not the mirror will work for you. It’s not enough to browse around online to find a good one because you never know how it will work for you until you get it home and try it. So shop in stores till you think you’ve found the model that’s right for you, then come online to search for special deals on that model!

A good fogless shower mirror is essential for most homes. Men quite often like to shave in the shower every morning. I’m not really sure why they don’t use the sink, but whatever. There are many options to choose from when trying to pick out the best mirror for you and that’s exactly what I’m going to talk about here today.

Fogless is important, but it’s not the MOST important thing and I want to talk about that first. What is the most important thing? Suction cups! Many if not most of these mirrors, come with suction cups and I want to warn you desperately against them right from the start. Why is that? Well, suction cups never work… they just don’t! Every time you get into the shower you’ve got to remember to reach behind there and push on the suction cups to make sure that the stupid thing won’t fall.

Of course, if you’re like most people… you’re going to forget to push on the suction cups. It’s early in the morning you’re tired, you’re worried about your day, and you’re anxious to get going. Messing around with stupid suction cups is not something that’s going to be on your radar screen. And so inevitably you’ll be sitting in your living room or somewhere else and you’ll hear a crash come from the bathroom every few days or so and you’ll remember that you forgot to push the stupid suction cups and the darn thing fell again.

Your main alternative is to find a mirror that is hang-able either from the shower nozzle itself, or with some sort of strips that you can stick on the wall of your shower that generally work much better than suction cups. You can go to the extreme and drill holes in your shower wall as well, but I’m not sure I would recommend that right off the bat.

Now let’s talk Fogless mirrors: the fact of the matter is, most of these mirrors will still fog up to some degree and that’s perfectly normal. You can use anti-fogging spray and some of them actually work temporarily. When your mirror fogs up you’re going to be tempted to splash some water on it and wip the fog off with your hand. Don’t do that if you can help it because the oils in your hand, as well as any soap that might be on your hand as well, can interact with the fogless properties and render your mirror’s foglessness dead for future use.

Instead, try and use a washcloth to wipe the fog off when it actually happens. Most of the time your fog free mirror will stay fog free so you won’t have to worry about this sort of thing.

When it comes to choosing the right fogless mirror for you, it can be a bit of a crapshoot. If you look around especially at places like Amazon you’ll find lots of mirrors that are rated good, but very few that are rated great. That’s simply because fogless mirrors, like I said earlier, can still fog up and that can be annoying to even the most even-tempered individual.

But what about prices? prices for these things vary greatly. At the low when you can expect to pay $15 or so and the prices can shoot up to nearly $100 depending on how many bells and whistles you want your mirror to have. Some of them come with lights, some of them come with places to store your razor blade, some of them come with little shelves that will hold shaving cream and soap. It just depends what you’re looking for.

Personally, since these mirrors can be such a hassle, I suggest you get the most bare minimum mirror that you can. Don’t opt for bells and whistles. If you want to store your shaving cream and your razor and anything else in the shower, buy a separate storage device that you can hang by itself and don’t mess with trying to add all those things to an all in one mirror unit.

Some of the brands you can expect to find are Ace, Zadro, Floxite, Plastics Direct, OXO, Mirror Place, ShowerTek, ShavWet, Interdesign, Brookstone, and Rucci. Zadro appears to be the dominant brand as they tend to have more models than just about anybody else and sometimes you simply need to go with the brand that offers the most models because you know that they will be around the longest to service those models.

Finding the right fogless shower mirror can be frustrating. It can be a hassle to try brand after brand in an attempt to find one that won’t fog up like they promise to; but eventually with persistence and hard work you will find the model that is right for you and then I suggest you buy several and put them in storage!

What can you expect in a lighted make up mirror? That’s what I’m going to talk about today in great detail! Picking the right mirror is one of the most important decisions you will ever make regarding your beauty needs. Sure there are more important decisions in your life; who to marry, where to live, how many kids to have, what career to pursue…but on a day to day regular life basis, looking your best when you walk out your front door is essential, and picking the right makeup mirror is essential to that!

For years and years I used to use an unlighted makeup mirror. I thought the whole idea of having a light on the mirror was kind of stupid! I mean, there were lights in my bathroom already, what did I need any more for? So I labored away day after day applying my make up without extra lighting and of course it looked like crap…but I didn’t know any better so I wobbled along in blissful ignorance.

Then one day we went on vacation and stayed at one of my friends houses and she had a lighted mirror. I made fun of her for it actually, but she didn’t really understand what I was laughing about and she sat me down and made me use it. I was blown away. I couldn’t believe how much easier it was and how much better my makeup looked… how much more evenly balanced my makeup was. I felt pretty stupid going all those years without using one myself!

Hopefully you are smarter than I was and are quicker to the world of lighted mirrors than I was! You’ve definitely come to the right place because today I’m going to tell you everything you need to know to find the best mirror for you.

Lighting Options, what should you expect? when it comes to lighted mirrors you really have a couple of different options. Most mirrors, in fact almost all lighted mirrors will come with two lighting options. Those options are daytime light and night time light. They attempt to mimic the kind of light that you will be surrounded by during the day and during the night so that you can apply your makeup accordingly.

Higher-end and slightly more expensive mirrors will come with four lighting settings. They will come with the same daytime light and night time light settings that you will have come to expect from the cheaper models, but they will also have a setting for office light and home light that many women find invaluable, especially those who work everyday and need to apply makeup that looks good in an office setting.

I’ve heard many women argue over these different lighting settings. Some say they aren’t necessary, some swear by them like you wouldn’t believe. Personally I believe that the more options you have the better off you’re going to be in every circumstance. Luckily it’s not just the expensive models that have the four lighting settings, many cheaper-end models have them as well these days. You just have to look around a little harder to find them.

A quick word on type of light. You’ll find some mirrors with LED lights that claim to never need to be changed or replaced. If you’re lazy like me, this claim may sound pretty darn good but let me warn you in advance… many women have reported that these LED lights, while okay, don’t tend to throw off quite as much light as some of the more regular models. So if you’re the kind of woman who likes more light, you may want to stay away from the LED versions of some of these more popular mirrors.

Brands brands brands, which is best for you? there are many different brands out there to choose from. At the higher end of their price range are the Jerdon models which can run you anywhere from $50 up to $200 depending on the options you want. These are generally very good mirrors at the higher end prices. The other main option is Conair which offers many many different models at the lower end of the price scale. You can expect to pay anywhere from $25 up to $60 give or take a few bucks. Even though they are less expensive, these mirrors are very nice at even the lowest price range models.

There are other brands out there, in fact Revlon produces several different models. When it comes to Revlon mirrors I suggest you stay away from them because Revlon is a makeup company and that is their main focus. They don’t put as much effort into their mirrors and you can tell. Likewise there are some other brands out there as well and some of them are okay. Punch the brand name into Amazon or Google and see how many options are available. If a company only produces three or four different mirrors, that’s a good indicator that they may not be a company you want to deal with for the long run.

Finding a good lighted make up mirror is important, finding one at the right price is even more important. Luckily you have chosen to do a little research on the Internet before you jump right in and I hope that it will pay off for you by helping you to find the perfect model at the perfect price to meet your needs.

Finding the perfect lighted magnifying mirror is important. In fact, there aren’t many things more important when it comes to your makeup routine. Many women choose to use a mirror that doesn’t have lighting and that’s okay, but for those of us with a little more discerning taste, lighting is absolutely essential; so I’m glad you’ve come to the right place today.

On this page I’m going to talk about several different brands as well as several different models within those brands to give you a clear idea what to expect as far as options and features, as well as different price ranges that you can expect to find so that you make sure not to overspend when you find the right mirror for you.

How important is magnification? before we get into lighting and brands and prices I want to spend just a quick moment on magnification because I find that many women don’t realize that they have different options in this area. Most mirrors will come standard with two magnifications, 1X and 5X. Personally I find this quite adequate, but many women feel like they need a little more magnification and that’s just fine. For them they can choose between 7X, 8X, and 10X. You can find higher magnification but it’s quite unusual to go higher than 10X. Many travel mirrors come as 10X. for some reason, but I find that 10X is way too much magnification for me! But enough about that! On to lighting

Lighting is the most important part of any mirror because it will determine how you do your makeup. A good mirror will come with four different lighting settings. There should be a setting for day time light and night time light, and there should also be a setting for work light (or office light as it is sometimes referred to) and home light. These different lighting settings attempt to mimic the different lighting you will be surrounded by during the day so that you can do your makeup to fit in with that type of lighting.

I said that many mirrors come with four lighting settings but that’s truer for your higher-end slightly more expensive models. Many of your basic models, the ones at the lower price ranges, will only come with two lighting settings; day light and night light. You can probably get by with just these two types of lighting settings but I wanted to make you aware of the fact that some mirrors come with more options because I find that some women are unaware of this fact.

I like to focus on two major brands when it comes to these types of mirrors; Conair and Jerdon. Conair mirrors offer a very wide variety of price ranges and options all at the lower end of the price scale. You can expect to pay anywhere from $20-$25 all the way up to $60 or sometimes $70 for most Conair mirrors. Don’t let the low price range fool you, these are very good mirrors and you will get good quality for the price you pay!

At the higher end of the price range are the Jerdon mirrors. These mirrors start usually around $50 (though there are a few sub $50 mirrors to choose from – go with Conair at the cheaper ranges though because they specialize more at that range). Prices continue up to around $200 depending on the exact options you want.

I find that whatever your budget is, whether you have just a few dollars to spend or a couple hundred dollars to spend you will be well served by both of these brands. I’ve never heard a single bad word about either of them at any price range. But every woman is different so you may have to purchase several mirrors before you find the exact one to suit your bathroom lighting and your makeup needs, and that’s okay. I suggest you try out a few and keep the receipts… and don’t be bashful about sending them back if they don’t work out quite right. This is an important decision and you have to be sure.

I’m not really sure what we used to do before they came out with a good lighted magnifying mirror! But one thing is for sure, I couldn’t get through my day without one and I’m sure you feel the same way. Finding the right magnification, coupled with the right lighting settings, and you’ve got yourself a ticket to beautyville! Well, you know what I mean…

Owning the right magnifying makeup mirror can make all the difference between walking out your front door every morning looking like a million bucks, or walking out your front door looking like something the cat dragged to work. Everyone is different, and everyone has different preferences when it comes to magnification. Some women like to be able to actually see their pores, while others are happy just to have a slight magnification.

Whatever your personal preferences may be, you’ll find everything you need to know to get the best mirror to fit your needs at the absolute best price. I’ll talk about different brands, and I’ll talk about different price ranges, and I’ll tell you how to find the best deals so that you don’t end up paying an arm and a leg.

First off, what magnifications are out there? when it comes to magnification you have many options, but not as many as you may think. Your standard makeup mirror will always come with two types of magnification. The mirror will usually swivel and one side will be dedicated to one magnification and the other side will be dedicated to the other as I’m sure you already know! Usually on a standard mirror you will find 1X and 5X mag. 1X means simply one times magnification while 5X means… you guessed it…five times magnification. This is usually fairly standard and if your mirror doesn’t say otherwise you can guess that it’s probably at this level.

But what about something a little stronger? Personally I don’t care for the stronger mirrors out there but I know many women who do, in fact I know many women who swear by them! So what options are there? Generally speaking you will find 1X and 7X mirrors as well as 1X and 8X mirrors and you usually won’t find anything greater than 1X and 10X mirrors. The 10X mirrors are very different in that you have to really get used to the extra magnification. In fact for some reason, and I’m not really sure why, many travel makeup mirrors come as 10X mirrors.

The only way you’re going to know which kind of magnification is right for you is to try them all out. Hopefully you can get away with doing this in the store without buying several different mirrors but the fact of the matter is, we never really know till we get them home and into our own bathrooms surrounded by the exact lighting that we will use every day.

Some women I know will go out and buy several different mirrors with several different magnifications and bring them home and test them out for a week or so. Really if you think about it, it’s the only way to know for sure which mirror is right for you. Just be sure to keep your receipts and return the mirrors as soon as possible when you’ve decided which one to keep. It seems a bit extreme I know, but there’s something strange about doing makeup in your own bathroom that’s hard to replicate elsewhere. It has something to do with the kind of light that you will expect to use day in and day out that really makes a difference.

What Brands Are Out there? when it comes to brands you have several options. I mainly focus on three major brands because I find that you can find exactly what you’re looking for at any price range somewhere within these brands. I like to focus on just Conair, Jerdon, and Revlon. Now Conair mirrors are fantastically good mirrors at the lower price range. You can expect to pay anywhere from $25 up to $75 with nearly unlimited options within that price range depending on exactly what you want in your magnification levels.

Jerdon, on the other hand, tends to focus on more expensive higher-end models and you can expect to pay anywhere from $50 up to $200 for one of these mirrors. Again you’ll find nearly as many different options to choose from as the Conair line at different price points so you can really get what you need at whatever budget you have.

Revlon focuses on makeup and for some reason decided to sell a line of mirrors as well. I suppose they thought there was synergy between the two or something. The fact of the matter is, these are very poor mirrors most of the time in my honest opinion and you want to stay away from them if possible. The only reason I mention them at all is to warn you against them.

Finding the absolute perfect magnifying makeup mirror for you is an important part of everyone’s life and I hope you’ll put in just a little extra effort to find the best one for you because day in and day out there are few things in life that you’ll use more than this mirror so you want to be sure to get a good one.

When it comes to a good lighted wall mirror, you have many options. In fact, you have so many options that it can seem, well, a little overwhelming at times! Luckily you’ve stumbled into the right place! Today I’m going to talk to you about everything you need to know to find the right mirror for your exact needs.

I’m going to talk brands, and I’m going to talk models, and I’m going to talk prices. I’ll even show you how to get the best deal so that you don’t end up spending more than you have to! And if you have any questions along the way, please contact me and I’ll do what I can to help.

When it comes to these things, you really have two major options. Before we get any further along with this stuff, we really have to pinpoint exactly which of the two major options you are interested in. On one hand you have those smaller wall mounted vanity mirrors, I’m talking about the kind that you mount on the wall with a bracket and face plate, and have an extendable arm that allows the mirror to swing out so that you can get a good angle to do your makeup or whatever, and are generally around 9 inches in diameter.

The second major option you have is to put up a full on large square mirror that is surrounded with lights. This is a regular sized mirror, not a small vanity mirror. When I think of these mirrors I think of movie stars on the set of their latest film production sitting in their makeup station getting made up for filming by someone on the makeup crew.

If you’re looking for the smaller mirror that I mentioned first, then click the site map link on the right hand side of the screen and you will find links to about twenty other pages within this site that can give you all the massive information you could ever want to need on those mirrors. If you’re looking for the large wall mounted mirrors, keep reading.

These large mounted mirrors are much more expensive than a regular vanity mirror, because they are very large and also complicated in that they are also lamps, not just mirrors. All that extra electrical stuff costs money when you add it to a regular mirror. That’s why many women opt for a smaller and more versatile vanity mirror. Prices for these large mirrors start usually at over $200 and can range up to $700 or more depending on the model.

Lighted Mirror Wall Lamp by George Kovacs this is one popular model that costs around $290. It features glass diffusers and a mirror glass finish that is especially elegant looking. It has two 13 watt 120 Volt 2-pin T5 type medium base fluorescent lamps that are not included with your purchase. The mirror measures 27.5 inches in Height and 24.5 inches in width. So you see, it’s still not a very large mirror by any stretch of the imagination.

The fact of the matter is this, it can be difficult to find a good lighted wall mirror online because of their size and price. Your best bet is to simply check out a lowes or home depot type store or a home goods store in your area. Of course, if you are looking for the smaller sized vanity mirrors that are wall mounted, you’ll have NO trouble finding a steal of a deal online, and even on this web site as I mentioned earlier.
