Revlon doesn’t have the wide product line that many other companies have, but the mirrors they do produce are not that bad. Personally I’m not sure I would purchase one because you never know how long they are going to be in this business. They may decide to stop making them in the future. And then how do you get support if yours breaks? But if you’re happy with them and you like their models then by all means go for it! RV970 Lighted Magnifying Mirror this is a 1X and 5X magnification mirror that has a beautiful antique brushed metal finish and a 360° swivel mirror. It comes with circular lighting that is battery or AC adapter powered. Many people have suggested that the lighting on this model is poor, but for it’s price… around $22 it might be worth looking into.
Oval Lighted Magnifying Mirror – RV965 at around $25 this lamp features a 1X and a 5X magnification to provide for powerful close-ups. It has two light settings, one for daytime lighting and one for evening lighting. It has a soft rim lighting system and the mirror swivels easily to let you switch between the different magnifications quickly. Many people have suggested that the light bulb doesn’t last very long in this model and that finding a replacement is difficult at best. This suggests that you may try to look elsewhere for different mirror.
Revlon Perfect Touch Lighted Oval Mirror this is a sharp looking mirror and costs just $26. It has both 1X and 7X magnification which is a little surprising because 7X is more magnification than most low-end models provide. It might even be too much magnification for you, it just depends what you like. It has a fog free mirror surface and touch sensitive lighting control that lets you adjust between three different levels of light. It has a polished chrome finish that is nice to look at.
Revlon RV978 Perfect Touch Lighted Oval Mirror, Polished Chrome at $35 this is among the higher priced models at Revlon offers. It comes with touch sensitive lighting that adjusts to three different levels. Some people like touch lighting and some don’t. The mirror swivels 360° and has a fog free surface. The mirror is 8″ x 9.5″ oval.
Revlon RV980 Perfect Touch Lighted Pivoting Toggle Mirror this is the high end model that Revlon offers and costs around $43. It has distortion free mirrors that provide crisp and clear views. It has a pivoting head that rotates and a finger toggle allows you to adjust the mirror. This is a square shaped mirror that looks slightly unusual but nice. Overall a very sophisticated looking mirror.
Well, there you have several different revlon makeup mirror models and price ranges to choose from. The consensus seems to be that Revlon should stick to what it’s good at, makeup… and leave the manufacturing of mirrors to companies that focus just on that. Reviews are almost uniformly bad for all the models I’ve discussed today. So keep that in mind when deciding on a brand in the future.
